Application areas of thermal spraying: Construction sector

Surface modification of tanks, plants, bridges, etc. is carried out on-site! We are constantly making improvements.

In the late 1970s, we energetically conducted salt spray tests and coastal exposure tests, establishing anti-corrosion thermal spraying technology. In the 1980s, we equipped ourselves with automatic thermal spraying devices that could be operated on-site, and began undertaking anti-corrosion thermal spraying for crude oil tanks and others. By 2011, we had performed thermal spraying on dozens of tanks. From the late 1990s to the present, thermal spraying of various bridge components, including the Fukuhoku Bridge, has become active. We aim to improve the quality and cost aspects of these components by developing construction techniques using automatic thermal spraying. We are continuously making improvements to accommodate even more complex shapes. In cases where land transportation is difficult, problem-solving through on-site construction.

Solving the problems of rust and corrosion! We uphold the motto "No rust for 100 years."

At Shinmen Iron Works, we offer "on-site construction" services. For large structures that are already installed in large plants, local welding areas, corrosion spots, and processing areas where surface treatment is difficult due to land transportation, our service will solve your problems. If you are considering switching from painting to thermal spraying for long-term corrosion protection, or if you wish to remove old paint layers using blasting to check for surface roughness or corrosion conditions for painting preparation, please feel free to consult us. 【Features】 ■ Our motto is "No rust for 100 years." ■ We propose rust prevention and surface treatment that satisfy our troubled customers. ■ We solve problems related to rust and corrosion. *For more details, please refer to the external link or feel free to contact us.

Introduction of corrosion-resistant specifications with a longer lifespan than painting.

Electrochemically protect the base material! We propose a long-lasting anti-corrosion coating that won't rust for 100 years.

If you are looking for a longer lifespan than conventional painting, we recommend a process that combines thermal spraying and painting. Thermal spraying is a technique that involves melting metals such as zinc or aluminum (JIS H 8300), which are less noble than iron, and spraying them onto a surface to create a coating. Unlike painting, which protects by blocking air, this method provides electrochemical protection to the base material. Additionally, it is possible to apply an effective metallic coating of any thickness to any location without causing distortion from heat, and on-site work can also be performed. 【Features of Thermal Spraying】 ■ More resistant to peeling from bending and vibration compared to painting ■ Significantly reduces the generation of VOCs ■ Allows for the application of effective metallic coatings of any thickness to any location ■ No distortion from heat ■ On-site work can also be performed *For more details, please refer to the external link or feel free to contact us.
